What you eat right now is your diet. Therefore; everyone is on a diet of some sort. We have been conditioned to think that a diet is some sort of caloric restriction when in fact your diet is whatever you choose to put in your mouth. Notice how i use the word CHOOSE? Why is that important? No matter who you are or where you are, you make a conscious decision what goes into your mouth and your body. What you choose to put in your mouth makes up your nutrition.
Nutrition does a couple things: It can keep you healthy, make you strong and resistant to illness or it can make you unhealthy, and at risk for the common cold all the way up to cancer and heart disease. Your nutrition or lack thereof either pushes you in one direction (health) or the other (Death). That is not to scare you its just a simple fact. Its hard for most people to associate food with death and disease but if you want to break it down, food, the food you eat specifically, makes up what and who you are. That’s very important when it comes to staying healthy and living a happy life. Yes food impacts mood but we will get into that later.
