Step 2 in our eating for optimal health plan is simple in theory but in practice can be very hard. Step 2 simple says Eat Real Food. Its unfortunate that we need to clarify what this means but with all the big business trying to convince you that something in a package is real food we need to take that extra step.
Our definition of real food is as follows:
Real Food does not come in a package and is not processed or refined.
Is this simple enough? Real food consists of meat, fruits and vegetables, and nuts and seeds. Anything beyond that is not real and is not helping you be more healthy.
We have, what we believe, are good reasons why not to eat most processed foods and would love to share those with you. All you have to do is ask.
