The Weightlifting Team gives you the most platform time possible. After conquering the basics (snatch and Clean and Jerk) you will spend time refining these movements then supplementing them with strength or mobility/stability exercises. Each class is coached by your well qualified Black Box coach. Depending on your level of mastery of the movements these classes may have athletes with individual programs.

Our Strength and Conditioning group fitness classes are designed for the general fitness enthusiast/cross training athlete. These classes thrive through the community that supports everyone and is created by you. Bring your positive attitude and willingness to work hard and your coach will provide the expertise and stimulation to reach your goals.
Strength Class for Endurance Athletes
This class is geared toward cyclists, as well as other endurance athletes, looking to improve their performance as an endurance athlete. Strength training is an important element to implement into a regular training program. The purpose of this class is to increases power and strength for endurance athletes and improve performance for their sport. Strength training can also reduce risk for injury if done properly.

Black Box Personal Training is designed around YOU and YOUR goals. This can take place in two ways.
- In the Black Box Fort Worth facility: You meet with a coach, discuss your goals and determine a path to accomplish those goals. You then meet with a coach at Black Box for each session. This is our ideal situation so our coaches can keep a close eye on your training and progress.
- On your own: This is a program design option where you can do the workouts on your own outside the gym under the close observation of a well qualified Black Box Fort Worth Coach. This option is ideal for those of you Black Box enthusiasts that do not live in or around Fort Worth or just can’t make it in the gym as frequently as they would like or at our hours of operation.

BlackBox Fort Worth now has youth weightlifting classes! These classes will be open to boys and girls 11 years old and up. These classes will run on Tuesday and Thursdays at 430 pm for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
The value of learning the skill of weightlifting early in life will aid and assist young athletes in every aspect of their athletic career for the rest of their life. We have all said this: “If I had known what I know now as a youngster, I MIGHT have had a better chance at success in sports.” This program is initially designed as a way to teach kids how to move better and know their way around a weight room as they get older and exposed to different coaches and training methods. The skills learned here will give them confidence in the way they move and train going forward.
The center piece of this program will be the Olympic lifts and refining technique. We will also use bodyweight exercises and single leg assistance work to create balance and quality movement. In the event that some of these kids want to compete in Olympic style weightlifting, we will most certainly support that!
